Hate that song, personally - the freaking words just don't make any GD *sense*. Then again, it's The Band, might as well expect Dylan to make sense. (I know, no accounting for taste. I hate all MoTown, too...) But yeah, I can see the monkey loving it, and it's hysterical punchline for today's strip!
@Pete(Detroit)- Granted, the words don't make a lot of sense ("If I spring a leak, she mends me") but doesn't it sound like The Band is having fun singing it? Throw in a manic monkey (wait, wasn't that a song by the Bangles?) and you've got good times!

Yep - also that mid-eastern / oriental fusion cooking classic, "Wok like an Egyptian"
And yes, they DO sound like they're having fun. But for goofy gibberish, I prefer Dr Seuss...
