Dr. Jarlsberg:

I copied and posted this on my own web site, "OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE", e-mailed it to a whole bunch of folks, and printed hard copies that I'll take downstairs to our clinic.

In each case, I give you full credit, complete with automatic links to your web sites.

I can hardly wait to see the reaction of our clinic's staff!

Heh! Heh! Heh!

Yuk! Yuk! Yuk!

Thank you.

Apologies to Christopher Cross

Actually, it keeps the blood from getting too thick. Not nice to make the vampires work too hard...

I always wondered why they gave me so much of the stuff during chemo therapy!

@John Robert Mallernee- I'd actually like to know what their reaction is. I keep toying with the idea of compiling a book of Johnny cartoons, and I've wondered if people in the healthcare industry might not be a good target market. (Not that I would expect such a book to end up in many waiting rooms!)

@TrickyRicky- Thanks for the earworm! (grin)

@Stan da Man- True fact: if vampires have to suck too hard, it makes them fart. You can look it up on Wikipedia.

@Glenn B- Tears are just part of the reason. The other is that it's pretty profitable selling saltwater for $100 a bag.

Dr. Jarlsberg:

The three (03) nurses and the pharmacist I showed it to all laughed, and posted it on the bulletin board in their office.

But, they didn't put it out in the waiting room for the patients.

I made extra copies, which I put on the tables in our canteen, but I don't know what happened after I left.

So, I reckon your assessment is probably right.

Medical personnel will appreciate the humor, but may be reluctant to share it with patients.

But, on the other hand, I'm one of the patients, and I'm the one who's laughing the loudest.

Thank you.
