I just can't imagine Yogi saying such discouraging things to his pal.

It may not be for everyone, but I am fond of Brompton's Cocktail.

Morphine just makes me constipates me. As regards TR, I'm fond of Frampton's Camel

I have been wheelchair bound for 35 years and am highly offended by this cartoon series. Thanks for the laughs, Tim

@Anonymous- Please accept my sincere apologies. It's easy to see how people can be offended, but all I can do is assure you that it isn't my intent.

The Johnny Optimism strip was born out of painful events in my own life, as well as my belief that when we have no choices other than laughing or crying, dark humor is better than nothing. The strip is about resilience; the characters get kicked but always get back up. It most certainly isn't about mocking anyone's problems, but rather about the fact that we all have problems and have to find ways to cope.

All of that being said, I appreciate your honesty and am sorry for any offense.
