@John- I can't recall if this is the first time I've shown these characters or not (there might have been one previous occasion). I sprinkle in the different people and situations in a somewhat random fashion.
By the way, I've mentioned it before but all of the characters in Johnny Optimism are from clipart collections (properly licensed) that were originally intended to be innocently used for advertising...probably back in the 70's from the looks of things. I actually can draw a little, but I could never capture the wonderful retro innocence of these drawings, which form such a perfect counterpoint to the dark humor.
It's always a delight for me to discover a new drawing which fits Johnny's world, and opens the door to new characters and gags.

According to new legislation some people want to start, this makes that little boy eligible for special treatment as an "ugly person"....
