Poppies

  1. Properly posted at my web site, AND, later on today, if the pharmacist downstairs is there, I'll give him a hard copy.

  2. The concentrations are too low, Johnny. I have heard that poppy seeds can create false positives in pee tests...or is that just an excuse?

  3. What, you're supposed to SHOOT the muffins? And here I've been snorting the crumbs all this time...

  4. @John Robert Mallernee- I hope your pharmacist has a good sense of humor!

@Angry Hoosier Dad- If there are poppy seeds in your pee, you're clearly doing something nature didn't intend with your muffins.

@Stan da Man- Snorting the crumbs is sooOOoo 80's.

  6. @JustaJeepGuy- And hopefully you also got them to believe that your syringe is only used for coffee.

  7. The thing that got me about the false positive is that a poppy seed supposedly leaves a characteristic signature heroin/morphine ratio (or something) that everyone who does those tests is supposed to know. Somehow, I got tested by the one person who didn't know. Story of my life...
