Just go out for a nice meal in any decent restaurant these days and you will see one or more toddlers with delusions of grandeur running amok through the patron's tables whilst their parents are in the thrall of their iPhones.
I'll be keeping a watch for the bare breasted women now though.
I imagine that was how it was for France's Sun King. Especially when old and decrepit.

ReplyDelete@TrickyRicky- Believe me, I've seen those toddlers with delusions of grandeur, usually in the company of parents with delusions of adequacy.
@Earl- In the delivery room, it probably created a lot of excitement when this baby was crowning...wearing an actual crown!
