As an aside, about 10 years after, I was in a Bible study with a guy who lived in the same city as my brother, and said he used to be an "enforcer" for the Mexican mafia. Don't know if he was involved. Small world.
I didn't realize that there was a medical name for the condition where you are wearing cement shoes under water...
