@Anonymous- My bad; I forgot to post (but there's a cartoon up now). And pretty much EVERY month, on the 13th I'll think "Friday the 13th came on a Monday this month" (or whatever day of the week) because I love Pogo.
I've been saying "Friday the thirteenth done come on a (your day here)_______ this month" for several decades. Along with other Walt Kelly-isms. I even still have the Albert the Alligator figure that came with a box of Spic-and-Span 50 years ago!
... and thus, Obnoxious Rhyme Week was born.
ReplyDeleteLeaf it to Beaver?
ReplyDelete@Westheim- Most rhymes are annoying unless they end in "Burma Shave."
ReplyDelete@TrickyRicky- Good one!
It "fig"ures...
ReplyDeleteThe only leaf I want Tickles to turn over is Poison Oak.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when Cousin Dez went to go buy a "Leaf Blower" - bot was he dissapointed!
ReplyDeleteI'd tell Clown Boy to keep his serpent in his pants, but apparently he's not wearing any.
ReplyDeleteFriday the thirteenth came on a Monday this month. Walt Kelley
ReplyDeleteI guess Johnny has the day off because of it.
Thanks for the ongoing entertainment.
