@Readers- By the way, today's cartoon is in celebration of my daughter's birthday. A couple of decades ago (sigh), she informed me that she had "earwack" - and when I corrected her, she pointed out (in complete innocence and sincerity) that it was in just one ear.
Some decades ago, I was making breakfast for a lovely young lady (about 3 or 4 years old) and without thinking I put pepper in her scrambled egg. "What's THAT!?!?" she insisted, pointing out the black flakes. "Flavor Spots!!" was my quick witted (so I thought) reply. "I think I spot a flavor I don't LIKE!!" Admitting defeat, I told her it was ok, I'd eat that one, and make her another w/ NO spots...
Had to explain to her mom why I was choking on laughter as I'm re-making the egg...
As I'm getting older it seems I've got my own personal manufacturing operation going on inside my aural canal instead of upon my noggin. On the left I'm generating an "ear-wig", and on the right I'm making an "ear-wig". Really quite annoying.
I used to only pay income tack....
