Ah, summertime for kids, the cuts and scrapes were half the fun. I never went to summer camp, but if the Cripple R activities director is any indication, I missed a lot.
@TrickyRicky- It's a running joke in my family that Mrs. Jarlsberg, as a child, always coveted good knee scabs as both a badge of honor and handy plaything.
And yes, that activities director does make the great outdoors more appealing.
