Some years back I'm at the bar for a Friday evening, Friend of a friend is going on about her daughter off to college, how much she's looking forward to the empty nest, redecoration, etc, etc... Then she gets hiccups. Turns to me and "Startle me!" Right, when you're EXPECTING to be startled? Thought for a minute, put on a serious face, "You're pregnant" >GASP< Hiccups OVER...
