  5. When being introduced to someone new an old buddy of mine would respond with
    "hi, pleased to meet me"
    It either went totally over the top of their head
    or you'd see a "wait, what?" look on their face a few seconds later

  7. People frequently ask me "How are you?" and I say "Ambulatory." I'm always surprised by how few people know what that means.

  9. Stilt, let us know when bars around you re-open - I've got vaca that needs used, and flier miles I can spend. First round is on me. I expect you, Daughter J, and the Mrs will drink free all night. Possibly even some decent scotch, if it doesn't turn your stomach!
