Sometimes I indulge myself and throw in a punchline that will mean absolutely nothing to anyone significantly younger than I am.

This song can't be that old, it came out the same year that i popped out.
One of my favorites as a child; regularly watched the Perry Como show; particularly liked the request segment. Indeed, a more pleasant time - although now that I have studied what was actually going on behind the scenes, maybe not. But at least it wasn't blatant.
Perry Carditis doesn't sing anything as cheerfully as does Perry Como.
