    @John Robert Mallernee- Sorry about that; now that I think of it the punchline IS pretty obscure if you're not thinking of that phrase!

    I didn't find the punchline obscure. Sometimes when you read a line, the meter and rhyme effect brings to mind another set of words, which it did for me in this case and I got it right away. But I expect references to death from Johnny and his world.
