I am hoping for a better new year for sure. Two weeks ago today a 70 foot Ponderosa pine landed on our house during a high wind storm. Luckily it was a glancing blow or I'd be typing this sitting in a pile of kindling. This past Saturday we had to put our lovely, smiling yellow lab to sleep. Way too soon. I am wandering around like I've been gutted. Her sister is devastated, but she gets all our love now. Ah, I know this too shall pass.....
Happy New Year to us all. We DO live in the greatest, and for now, freest country in the world. May we all be here in 365 days,

These two must be in Australia; nobody holds a sack race in the winter.
Blessings on you for 2026, Stilt.
