@Bobo- Exactly. I really love Johnny's relationship with Lance, because I can't think of anyone who needs it more. (By the way, as I write this my own dog is curled next to my office chair).
@Stilt-Only one thing....you can live a completely normal life with only one kidney....I did for 36 years. And while you need dialysis if neither kidney works....you can still live a somewhat normal life with no kidneys....I've been on dialysis for 4 1/2 years.
@Dave- I was taking some creative license for the sake of the set-up...I couldn't come up with any other pairs of really important organs. I'm really glad dialysis is working for you - I know it's no fun.
