@Chuck- I love that film. Not only is it really entertaining, but I think the message is an important one for all of us. We can get so distracted looking for the seemingly big accomplishments in life that we can sometimes forget the importance of the small acts of good which we can do every day...and what the ripple effects of those acts may be.
And so there's no cynicism in Johnny when he says "let's watch It's A Wonderful Life" because I think he truly gets that message and believes his life to be wonderful and important despite his many adversities.
@Dan Mathewson- I love "A Christmas Story." I'm originally from Indiana, and the sights and sounds of that Christmas really take me back to my own childhood. A classic!

And then, "It's a Beautiful Death"
(Alternatively, "Death at a Funeral")
I hope angina man made it to Christmas! Merry Christmas!
@Stan da Man- I wonder if Clarence (from "It's a Wonderful Life") might be Johnny's guardian angel. It would explain a lot.
@Kevin- I'm sure angina man will make it to the new year. After that is anyone's guess...
I'm with Johnny. I did watch "It'a a Wonderful Life" yesterday with my family. After all the times I've seen it, I still choke-up.
