Tis true: people who want to share their religious view with you practically never want you to share yours with them.

And now the spammers are hitting poor Johnny?!? Like he doesn't have enough problems already ...

@Chuck- I debated for a long time before deciding to share this new character. I wouldn't want anyone to think that it's a jab at religion - rather, it's a jab at a certain stripe of self-righteous smugness that doesn't do good for anyone other than the individual...frequently while inflicting pain on others. The Westboro Baptists spring to mind.

I like the character! That smugness comes through from more than the self-righteous "religious". I love all the people that want to share their "been there had that injury/disease” horror stories with you when you have an injury/disease for their own selfish reasons. Johnny has dealt with more than his share of them over the years … and he always deals with them well.

That reminds me of an episode about 10 years ago. It was a warm, sunny summer day and my wife and I were house sitting a beautiful house out in the woods with no visible neighbors. One thing led to another. After our al fresco randy moment in the back yard we discovered a copy of The Watchtower tucked in the front door handle. I hope we didn't scare them too much.

@Chuck- Exactly. There is a special breed of person (most certainly not necessarily religious) that uses the misfortunes of others to boast about their own strength while salting the victim's wounds. That's who this little pain in the keester is.

@TrickyRicky- Sounds like they witnessed more than Jehovah that day...

Wellp …
at least her sect waits until after death to inflict hellfire on infidels.

@DougM- That's certainly a point in her favor, alright!
