Actually, the tooth fairies (that's right, recent research shows there are many of them!) do not discriminate against creatures that don't have pillows. It's just that the sharks constantly chew on them...

This joke was actually based on an idea I had a long time ago for a children's book about the tooth fairy and a shark (who really do lose that many teeth).
