@TrickyRicky- In complete seriousness, there was an interesting article recently that said the placebo effect still takes place even when subjects are told they're taking a placebo. Researchers opine that just the action of taking the sugar pill somehow helps stimulate the body's own healing mechanisms.
Not that I see Johnny getting out of that wheelchair after a bag of M&M's...
