Yeah this is pretty much what the V.A. Doctors told me to expect when they told me they’re taking me off my narcos they gave me for pain and kept me on for years for severe pain and then got me hooked on them like many vets are dependent upon after so long so expect trouble from them too because of it because we wont be able to deal without the pain meds too.

Today's cartoon is a bit autobiographical as I'm being taken off some meds and have been getting the "electric shocks" on a regular basis (albeit not with paddles). My meds weren't painkillers, and I know that getting off those can be infinitely harder, especially when there's still pain present. A very tough situation for sure.

Not to mention the taper tantrums.
