Reminds me of the time I volunteered to hold the rope someone was going to piss up! (Hey, I was an impressionable kid, and my mother said "what could POSSIBLY go wrong?")

Poor little Willy Tell. He does look vaguely Swiss. Someday, someone will write an overture.

True Story - Sword fighting school I belong to would 'present' panels at local (and not so local) SciFi and Steampunk conventions. One of the panels we did was knife throwing. One time, it was my fun job to stand "near" the target (actually, well off 'line') and use a sword fighting shield to block / ground rebounds, and keep them away from others in the room. Not entirely unlike holding a dartboard....
Didn't get any boo-boos, tho...
