This is funny to me because one of my tasks for the first hour of my shortened workday is to go around and wipe down equipment with an alcohol-soaked rag. I sure hope it's killing any viruses (virii?) because I'm using 99% isopropanol and the vapors are killing me.
@JustJeepGuy- I also am a disinfect drone at my workplace, using a dilute chlorine bleach and dish soap solution. I work in a liquor store, so the whiskey portion of the punchline fits right in, from some of our early morning regulars, not me!!
Just in case anyone wants to know, I am not turning Japanese. That's all I'm going to say on that issue.
I have now been informed--but not officially--that I won't need to disinfect any equipment until after April 11. Apparently, Colorado is being locked down. It's a mixed blessing. No more 99% isopropanol, but no more fun times at work either. Oh, wait--it IS called "work" for a reason...

Clan MacGregor: Kills 90% of all known bacteria and viruses, and severely wounds the remaining 10%.

Wow, JJG, you must be living in Kitty Dukakis' world.
Disinfecting the disinfector …. makes sense to me.

JustaJeepGuy: You say The Vapors are killing you. Perhaps You're simply "Turning Japanese"
@Sergio: I really think so! :D
@JustaJeepGuy- Oh yeah, that 99% stuff will get your head spinning in a heartbeat!
@M. Mitchell Marmel- The problem with using Clan MacGregor for sanitizing is that it can't be used on wood or other flammable materials.
@TrickyRicky- I need to remember the phrase "dilute chlorine bleach and dish soap" for the next time I'm asked what Clan MacGregor tastes like.
@Bruce Bleu- Now THERE'S a name I haven't heard in awhile!
@Chuck Baker (Macon)- You wouldn't believe the amount of alcohol I drink just to make sure this blog won't spread contagion!
@Sergio- Kirring...?
@M. Mitchell Marmel- Then it's official!
