When being introduced to someone new an old buddy of mine would respond with "hi, pleased to meet me" It either went totally over the top of their head or you'd see a "wait, what?" look on their face a few seconds later
Stilt, let us know when bars around you re-open - I've got vaca that needs used, and flier miles I can spend. First round is on me. I expect you, Daughter J, and the Mrs will drink free all night. Possibly even some decent scotch, if it doesn't turn your stomach! "D

When I'm asked, "How are you today?", my general response is, "Well, I woke up this morning, so anything else is gravy!"
Nowadays when someone asks how I am my stock answer is "No symptoms yet".
When someone asks me how I am? I reply 'So far so good but the day is young".
@Greywuff...That’s my stock answer too!
Person says: Glad to see you.
Me: it’s good to be seen.

People frequently ask me "How are you?" and I say "Ambulatory." I'm always surprised by how few people know what that means.
@Readers- I dream of a day when we can all converge on a bar and enjoy the most preposterous set of introductions ever!
@Stilton: Seconded.
