Yeah, perspective is not always helpful.The lesser of two evils is still evil.
I was wondering if that family was from deep in the Appalachians or some place like that.
@DougM- Yeah, perspective can be a hit or miss proposition in my experience (especially lately).@JustaJeepGuy- That would've made the joke much longer: "you've lost a son, a husband, a father, an uncle, a cousin..."
