Well ... it's not often a three-frame cartoon can conjure up that much emotion.
Stilton, I'm certain Kathy would be proud of you.
In these troubled & crazy times, you not only manage to simply "carry on", but also spread immense joy and laughter to SO many people in SO many places.
@Dear Friends- Thank you for the kind words. I felt like a stinker posting this cartoon because there's nothing funny about it, but on Kathy's birthday I felt like emotional honesty was the only way to go. I hurt, but it does help to bring a little humor and happiness to others when I can, so that's what I'm trying to do. To that end, I'll soon be making announcements about my book which honors Kathy and her sense of humor (with no hint that it's a memorial) as well as a new Johnny Optimism holiday collection, "Home for the Horrid Days," which just went live on Amazon today. I just ordered a copy to proofread on Monday!
It was the perfect cartoon. We've all been there, and that said it perfectly. It helps that someone can put those emotions into something tangible. Thank you. And no, you weren't a stinker. Quite the opposite!

Very rough. Hang in there.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I know it's hard, but know that you are helping others. Be blessed and comforted.
I can only imagine. Bless you and daughter J.
Words escape me at this time except to say that Kathy is looking down upon you, smiling. May God bless.
Your wonderful dark sense of humour is making life brighter for many of us.
Hang in there.
So sorry, mi amigo. I can't even imagine the grief you've gone through. And yet, you still bring joy to others. Salute!
