Is that lava flow the pyroclastic kind? Those are supposed to be the worst.

"The Excruciating History Of Dentistry" by James Wynbrandt, copyright 1998, ISBN 0-312-18576-6 is not a 'must read' book. "Toothsome tales and Oral oddities from Babylon to Braces."

From the back cover: "Toothache sufferers have their very own patron saint - Saint Apollonia, an early Christian martyr whose teeth were ripped out by Romans."

and: "Paul Revere, silversmith, patriot, and dentist, inadvertently pioneered the field of forensic odontology, the science of identifying human remains by dental records."

(It's the book I currently have in the car to read while my wife is: having a chiropractic session, being x-rayed, in LabCorp for blood tests, or just an all-to-regular doctor visit.)
