TrickyRicky beat us all to the obvious remark, so I'll just say I'm impressed that Stilt can draw an obviously beautiful woman with just a couple simple lines. Come on, she doesn't even have a nose, eyebrows, shoulders ... yet you know she's a stunner. Well done.
@Drew458- I've mentioned this previously but honesty demands I do so again. I enjoy drawing and sketching but more or less suck at it. So almost all of the artwork I use for Johnny Optimism is licensed clipart that was drawn by a wonderful artist named Tom Tierney (sadly departed), who you can read about at https://www.doverpublications.com/tomtierney/. I love the elegance and retro innocence of his style, which serves as a perfect counterpoint to the dark doings I subject these poor characters to. I augment Tierney's work with other licensed clipart that seems reasonably compatible.
And I quite agree that Tierney can draw an absolutely stunning female with just a few well-placed lines. I only wish I could get my hands on more of his work!
Stilt - I didn't know about the clip art. So thanks for your honesty. I quickly found at least half a dozen of his clip art collections online. I recognize the senior couple, and perhaps our favorite nurse here, along with the floor cleaning guy. just from pics of the covers of these books. I haven't found Johnny yet or Lance, so I'm hoping they're yours.
@Drew458- I've never tried to hide the fact that I don't draw the actual art and have posted about it from time to time here on the site. That being said, I do pay a legal licensing fee so all of this is legit. As for Johnny and Lance, they too are the work of the marvelous Tom Tierney. At some point I should post a couple of non-Johnny cartoons I've scribbled over the years just so everyone can see what a favor I'm doing for them by using a better illustrator than me!

Sometimes I hate words with multiple definitions.
I think she might provoke discharges of a different sort.
Discharge, discash... just as long as it gets paid for!

@JustaJeepGuy- So you're homophonophobic?
@TrickyRicky- Like at a military tribunal?
@Bruce Bleu- How pragmatic of you!
