Any time we come out of home detention, we will mix and mingle and spread diseases. So the whole house arrest period was for nothing, from the beginning.
@McChuck- We've entered tricky territory. On the one hand, I've asked that comments avoid politics. On the other, I feel like the pandemic needs to be represented in Johnny Optimism, but it's become a political issue as much as a medical one.
So from a purely medical standpoint, I'll say that "house arrest" policies were and are unnecessary IF there's near 100% compliance with mask use and social distancing until a vaccine is created and/or the risk factors (why is Covid-19 deadly to some but not to others?) become better understood.
@TrickyRicky- Nurse Ratched is truly one of the most terrifying characters ever seen on the silver screen. Because we know that monsters aren't real, but human monsters can flourish anywhere.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- Better than having her leave you in the Lurch, I suppose.

Golly, she's about cold enough to slush a beer as she hands it to you...

@Stan da Man- But you should see her collection of brass monkey balls!
A young nurse Ratched in the making.
