What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stranger.
Ouch.
Too soon.
@TrickyRicky- Yes indeed.@Anonymous- You'll get no argument from me. Even I find this appalling - and yet, there it is.
A two-word title, @Stilt? I don't think the hyphen makes "knock-knock" one word. But Johnny IS your guy, so it's your rules...
@JustaJeepGuy- "Knock-knock" is totally one word when used to describe a joke. Similarly, two knocks can be represented by the single word "knockers."
Let's argue about a word with two "K"s,both of which are silent
@DougM- Now that you mention it...
Hmmm..."Knock-Knock" has four "K"s, so that can't be the word, although two of them are silent. When using a word to illustrate the letter K, I always say "K as in knife". Clarity is not necessarily my goal.
Knock, knock!Who's there?Typhus.
Am I wrong for laughing? Yes, very wrong. G: Knopfen, knopfen. A. F.: Wer ist das?G: Die Geheimstaatspolitzei!A. F.: Scheiß.
