Took me a moment to get that … good one, Stilt!

It's too bad they live in such a pigpen.

@JustaJeepGuy- He did! But he thought he could get away with it.

@Bobo the Hobo- I was hoping people would get it. It's fun once you've figured it out!

@TrickyRicky- Yeah, their standards are pretty Lucy-goosey.

this is what happens when you don't start you kid on Bamba. By 8 months old they should be eating it.

I assume this has something to do with the reaction to a Peanut allergy...I have no experience with that, so I don't really appreciate the joke as much...
We raised our girl on Mama and clean foods; no meat (steroids) and no dairy (antibiotics and steroids). We thought that an allergy shouldn't be encouraged to show up so no Peanut Butter and stuff until she was a year.
Worked out well...steaming veggies and mixing it in with non dairy formula powder, plain yogurt and stand back...I was afraid she would eat us if we got too close!
Her Mom had a bit of lactose intolerance and asthma...and after a short time with a few allergies, she grew up to be healthy and a school athlete.
Go figure...

Just in case @Drew458 and @Gee M aren't pulling our collective leg (and I apologize if you are), the girl isn't allergic to peanuts, she's allergic to Peanuts...

I'm not. I'd ask about your feelings towards Schulz's old comic, but that would be Snoopy.

It's close to illegal in most of this country to send your kid to school with a peanut butter sandwich. That's how prevalent peanut allergy and/or peanut phobia is these days. Yet this didn't exist when I was a kid in the 60s, and it barely exists in Israel at all. While it's likely that the kids there get a fairly wholesome diet, almost all of their children are fed this Bamba snack - kind of like peanut butter Cheetos - as one of their first solid foods. There have been numerous studies. I'd compare the number of childhood vaccinations in the two countries as well, to see if a correlation exists. It seems to with autism, among others.

@Drew458--Good one!

Somebody knows where the sudden explosion of peanut allergies came from, but I don't. I used to work with a guy who couldn't eat peanuts but he could eat peanut butter, as long as it wasn't the crunchy kind.
