Time

Halloween is upon us, though at the moment we're looking at a cold and rainy one in North Texas which I hope won't keep me from being able to set up my not-too-spooky inflatables and passing out a bunch of candy to kids.

As has become a tradition on this page, I'm sharing pictures of kids who've decorated (with ample help from their loving families) their wheelchairs for Halloween. I don't know if there's a happier or more accurate image of kids triumphing in the face of adversity and they're inspiring in the best kind of way.

Whatever your holiday plans, best wishes for Halloween (and always) from Johnny, Lance, and the Jarlsberg Family!

I could see Johnny going totally "Big Daddy" Ed Roth. His ride already has huge rear wheels and tiny front ones... ;-)

30 here, but at least it's clear. I'll be working a Halloween kiddy party tomorrow, so shall leave a sacrificial bowl of candy at my door. :)

Calling for -5 but clear for tomorrow night, This is why in Canada, costumes are sized to fit over snowsuits...

Cold here in south Texas too - 42 degrees colder than it was at this time yesterday. But Halloween should have a chill. We've got a huge bowl of candy, and will be waiting for Johnny and his friend to show up tomorrow, and all the decorated wheelchair drivers too.

42 degrees colder ? that'sa lot of 'gorebull warming' ;)
Funny how we never seem to get any when it's a colder than average winter..they just change the 'averages'

Not to drift into politics, I appreciate your comment, Oldarmourer. I couldn't agree more. Texas can have all four seasons in one day, and the climate catastrophists don't know what to do with places like this. A week from now, we're expecting to have to use the AC again. DOH!

Denver is a lot more temperate than most of Colorado...it was only 17 degrees yesterday. Cold enough for this former Texan...
